I read about "dead internet theory" a while back and found it both fascinating and disturbing. But couldn't quite find a good angle on it for a story.

One day I was reflecting about how much generic content and communication there is on social media, and wondered if I could somehow write about this in the context of Web 3.0. Then I remembered dead internet theory, and tried to fit the pieces together.
